After the success of the Canova 95, finally the long-awaited restyling of the R1.
CANOVA R1 can prearrange up to 4 pairs of elastics, with a guaranteed throw up to 7 metres!
Arbatele speargun with an elegant and modern design, a mix between the old Canova and the new Hurricane 115.
The study of geometries and volumes, as well as aesthetics, is aimed at balancing loads, maximizing flexural rigidity and minimizing recoil.
Propulsion
The VELA system developed for CETMA COMPOSITES spearguns has got an innovative stopper, placed after the pulleys, which allows more range and a free sight line.
VELA system: VELA system is the system that maximizes the performance of the CANOVA R1 shotgun, zero recoil with centimeter precision. The different setting depends on personal underwater hunting needs.
POWER AND PENETRATION
The power and drilling capacity can be modified according to the type of rod and the diameter of the elastic chosen. The recommended stretch factor of the elastics is from 305% to max 320%, it can be modified according to personal needs.
CANOVA 95 R1 is supplied ready to fish with all standard accessories:
- Tahitian Pole
- ERMES trigger mechanism
- Reel seat and V50 / V90 carbon reel by Dyneema;
- Camera bracket;
- Shotgun bag;
- Magnum Plus muzzle and sling kit pre-assembled with the VELA propulsion system.
All accessories are made in 316L stainless steel and pulleys in DERLIN.
Monocoque in high modulus carbon with closed structure.
The internal structure is in very low density polyfunctional polymeric material with structural properties used for aerospace applications; it is a closed cell polymer core with vibration damping capacity.
Form
Canova R1 has got an extremely thin cuttlebone geometry, tapering towards the tip. On the whole lower part, the motor unit, made up of rubber bands, is suitably spaced from the frame, in order to facilitate loading and eliminate any form of friction or vibration on the frame during firing.
Size
Extremely low thickness: an average thickness of only 18 mm, with 2.4 cm sections. Width that varies from 96 mm in the reel area, and narrows again up to 5 cm in the muzzle.
Finish
Antiglare matte finish. CETMA COMPOSITES products are not varnished. This is synonymous with quality; in fact, very often low-quality carbon products are painted in order to hide defects related to the production process.
Production process
The completely innovative production process, discovered and studied by CETMA COMPOSITES is called "Zero-Defects Technology". It allows to create a totally monolithic piece in carbon fiber with zero voids. This process therefore maximizes the performance of the structure, making it as rigid as possible and unalterable over time.
